*Howdy~ My name is Rip (b. bryant miguel) & I live in Oakland, Calif. I work as a special education teacher & lov to dabble in art, and make outsider, lo-fidelity, art punk, no wave music. It sorta sounds like a mix of Strapping Fieldhands, Swell Maps, Syd Barrett, & Glorious Din. Previously, I've played a show as Daniel Johnston’s guitarist, toured around, co-facilitated/organized varied exhibitions, and dissected a baby Salmon shark for a Shark Week pilot. Not all on the same day tho... I tend to make art and songs about capitalist excesses/oppressions, doomscrolling, personal anecdotes, and eating for taste. Wut do you like to do with your time?
